food
When I first began making things with clay, I couldn’t wait to make functional ware (items for food). Eating from handmade wares is extremely satisfying. Sharing the food experience with others and making pottery for gifts fulfills me beyond measure. Even though my early mass-produced ceramics here were very successful, I truly enjoy the whole process of designing, making, firing, serving in, and eating from the often quirky handmade pieces.
